Book Post #1
I just finished a very interesting (if not somewhat gruesome) Sherlock Holmes book. The essential premise is a woman gets a cardboard box (hence the name "Cardboard Box"), but it has two severed ears inside. The whole thing turns out that the package was meant for her sister, who introduced the murder's wife to some dude named Alec. The murderer's wife cheats on her husband and winds up gettin' killed by her vengeful spouse and then drowned. I never knew that Sherlock Holmes journeyed into the whole adultery thing.

*snaps for new blog*
Yeah, Sherlock Holmes is a barrel of laughs. Except when he works with animals. Then he's just boring. But adultery? Always interesting.
The Zuckerman Brothers did a movie that had a similar premise. It was called Boxing Helena. It was the story of two guys who became obsessed with this woman, kidnapped her and then methodically removed her limbs until all they had was this torso on a pedestal. This movie was the middle part of a rather odd and unique trilogy that began with the movie Fargo and ended with The Big Lebowsky.
The Zuckerman brothers were from Madison. They are not to be confused with Michael Scwartz, who got his head squashed like a grape by a school bus when he was about 11. (Ask you dad, he knows all the gruesome details.)
As we established in an earlier post...the only books I read are "travel" books.....I can discuss in depth how to get around Disney World and Vegas....but that is just about it for me....:):):)...I did enjoy your blog......:):)
