Hello, Faithful readers (all 1.5 of you). I have decided to fascinate you once again with riveting tales from our trip to Galena, Ill.
While not many things happened that differed from our last trip, some things happened that did not happen last time. .................................................................................................................................................... Okay, so I can't think of any firsthand, but they exist.
the days went just as they always do. But, just to aide you, the following is a diagram of what happened:
Friday: Packed. Picked up Morena and Imladris from their respective educational facilities. Began trip. Forgot to take bet on when Morena would ask for food. Traveled for 4-5 hours. Reached Galena. Checked into hotel. Walked around and visited shops. Returned to hotel. Went to dinner. Returned to hotel. Drove around. Went to sleep (although it took me a while, beause of the four Mountain Dews I had with dinner).
Saturday: Slept in. Morena, Imladris, and Rockford went to get coffee. Stayed in room with Rennaisanceman. Watched "Ghostbusters" on Comedy Central. Went to breakfast. Walked around for a few hours. Visited Honest John's Trading Post (my favorite place, due to the weaponry). Found awesome pirate sword. Did not get awesome Pirate sword. Decided on LEGO sets instead. Went to Wal-Mart. Returned to hotel. Played with lego sets. Went to Mass. Drove around. Ascended The Stairs of Death. Felt like dying due to presumed athsma attack. Saw creepy silhouette in window of funeral home. Returned to hotel. Had dinner. Went to sleep (did not take as long as night before, due to the miraculous find of... Caffeine free Mountain Dew!!!).
Sunday: Went to breakfast. Returned to hotel. Repacked. Loaded up hotel cart. Checked out. Drove around. Went to park. Almost threw up from spinning on carousel thing. Went to Visitor's Center. Drove a bit more. Bade tearful good-bye to city of Galena. Drove for 4-5 hours. Arrived home. Unpacked. Ate dinner. Went to sleep.
And so ends what was probably the longest narrative of a three-day trip you ever read. Hope you enjoyed it.
ETA: The link to my other blog post will be blank, but just click and drag, and the words will appear. I had to do a school assignment once, , but I had to copy-and-past onto Word, but the font wouldn't work, so I had to change it. And now I can't change it back. Sorry.

I am glad that you have developed an affinity for Mountain Dew. when you become legal age it tastes really good in the blender with ice and gin.
